Watch out. Freezing rain threatening again
Freezing rain is back in Friday’s forecast.
The weather service has predicted a 30 percent chance of rain or freezing rain by afternoon in the Tri-Cities.
The high temperature will be near 33.
Rain or freezing rain could still fall into the late evening but the weather service says the chance of precipitation will dip to just 20 percent.
An air stagnation advisory is still in effect through 10 a.m. Friday. Air quality sat just below moderate, according to the Benton Clean Air Agency.
Weekend highs are expected to hover in the low 40s and climb closer to 48 by Monday.
The normal average high for December is 41 degrees, according to weather service data.
