Flames consume Kennewick trailer

Kennewick firefighters are on the scene of a burning travel trailer on Yelm Street.

The flames started in the about 20-foot trailer shortly before 1 p.m. Tuesday. Fire officials said everyone was out of it at the time it started. The fire was under control by 1:15 p.m.

The trailer and an older Chevy Suburban, parked behind a house on the 400 block of North Yelm Street, were destroyed.

Fire officials did not say whether the people were living in the trailer at the time.

The cause is under investigation..
