Warmer wishes for peace planned at Tri-City vigil

The annual Holiday Peace Vigil organized by World Cities for Peace will move indoors this year to keep participants warm but still allow a view of Howard Amon Park. Tri-City Herald

The Tri-City area’s annual multifaith Holiday Peace Vigil will move indoors this year to the Richland Community Center in Howard Amon Park.

People of any or no faith are invited by World Citizens for Peace to a a half-hour program at 3 p.m. Dec. 17.

Songs, prayers, a message of peace and personal wishes for peace on Earth are planned as people enjoy the view of the park through the floor-to-ceiling glass of the community center.

Children are welcome.
