3 wrecks, 3 DUI drivers. Kennewick cops busy
Kennewick police arrested three allegedly impaired drivers in three wrecks overnight.
Two were in roundabouts.
The first occurred shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday.
Stephanie B. Jensen, 27, tried to make it through the roundabout at Center Parkway and Grandridge Boulevard.
She hit the curb and got stuck. Police said her car still was high-centered when they found her.
The next occurred about an hour later.
Fernando Ramos, 28, tried to go through the roundabout on Hildebrand Road near Highway 395.
He ran over several curbs and wrecked the axles of his BMW.
His passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
The third occurred at 1:13 a.m. Sunday.
Police say Aquillina L Ramirez, 21, drove a gray Kia into a signal pole while attempting to turn west from North Volland Street onto West Canal Drive.
The car appeared totaled.
All three drivers were booked into the Benton County jail on suspicion of driving under the influence.
