E. Washington strike team heads to fight California wildfires

Firefighter Cole Massey of Walla Walla County Fire District 4 stows a duffel bag Friday morning while preparing to leave for the southern California wildfires from Kennewick Fire Station #3 near Columbia Center. A strike team, lead by Kennewick Fire Capt. Rusty Bachman, is headed to the Chino area as a mutual aid response to help protect homes and other structures threatened by the wildfires.
