Pasco School District searching for Highly Capable students
The Pasco School District is accepting referrals for enrolled students in grades K-11 to be assessed for eligibility for Highly Capable services during the 2018-19 school year.
Highly Capable services for identified kindergarten students will begin in February 2018.
Students who are eligible for the services are those who perform or show the potential to perform at significantly advanced academic levels. Teachers, parents, or community members may refer students, and secondary students may self-refer.
To refer a student for assessment, complete the form available at all Pasco schools or online at psd1.org/Page/8117.
Submit the completed and signed form to the child’s school or to the Curriculum and Professional Development Office at 1215 W. Lewis St., Pasco.
Referral forms must be received on or before Dec. 8.
