Kennewick police arrested a 17-year-old boy Thursday after he flashed a gun at another driver.

The teen pulled out the Umarex 40XP BB gun while he was driving near Clearwater Avenue and Kellogg Street.

The teen and the other driver knew each other, police said. They’d had past issues, which left the other driver believing the gun was real.

Police said they seized the weapon during a search of the teen’s car.
