A Tri-City girl is collecting toys for children in foster care.

Jayna Burris, 8, who was adopted out of foster care when she was a toddler, started the “Give a Gift, Get a Smile” drive a few years ago.

Her goal each year is to collect at least 500 gifts.

This year’s toy drive runs through Dec. 15. Donations may be dropped off during business hours at Red Door Party Rentals in Richland, A-One Refrigeration & Heating in Pasco and Heidi’s Mercantile in Kennewick.
