Pasco woman hurt in I-182 wreck
A 26-year-old Pasco woman was hurt Thursday in a two-car wreck on Interstate 182 in Pasco.
Tressa F. Birnbaum was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, where she was treated and later released.
She was driving a 1999 Honda Civic west on the highway at about 9:45 p.m., just east of the Lee-Volpentest Bridge, when she rear-ended a Chevrolet Camaro, said the Washington State Patrol.
The Camaro driver, Michelle Vergara-Tapia, 32, of Sunnyside, wasn’t hurt.
The wreck was caused by inattention, troopers said. They cited Birnbaum with second-degree negligent driving.
