East Coast, here they come. But first, they’ll rock Pasco

The guys of Night Argent have played big shows and festivals, from the Vans Warped Tour to South by Southwest.

They’ve released acclaimed music, including their sophomore EP, The Fear, earlier this year.

And they’re about to embark on an East Coast tour, opening for Social Repose.

But despite their impressive and ever-expanding rock resumes, they’re still Tri-City guys at heart.

They’re proving that yet again by playing a show in Pasco this weekend before hitting the road.

“As a band, we grew up in this area, we all went to shows in this area and played with a lot of the musicians here. This is where our support system comes from,” said Chase Manhattan, Night Argent’s frontman.

“It’s a lot of fun for us to see people who’ve been supporting us from the beginning — since before we were even Night Argent — in the crowd cheering us on and supporting our journey,” he said.

The show starts at 7 p.m. Nov. 25 at The Scarlet Room, 2820 N Road 72, Pasco. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

There’s no set admission fee; fans can pay what they want.

Night Argent takes off on tour with Social Repose in January. They’ll be joined by September Mourning and Secret Tree Fort.

While the guys have logged plenty of stage time before big crowds, this is their first tour supporting another act.

“We’ll be playing lots of places we’ve never played, with bands with that have large followings. We’re coming on as the new kids. We’re going to have to earn our place and play our hearts out,” Manhattan said. “That’s a challenge we’re looking forward to.”

There’s little doubt they’ll rise to meet it.

The guys have been on a hot streak since winning the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands in 2015, an honor that launched their career into overdrive. Shows, festivals, L.A. recording sessions, videos and releases followed.

Night Argent includes Manhattan on lead vocals/guitar; Shane Santanna on keys/guitar/drums; Evan Taylor on bass; and Zac Burrell on drums. All grew up in the Tri-Cities.

In the new year, the guys will be working on new music and spending time on the road.

They’re excited to kick off the busy time with the Pasco show. It’ll include some surprises, Manhattan said.

“We love you guys. The support from here has been unbelievable, it really has,” Santanna added. “We want our home base to show up and have a good time. We want to be here for them as much as they’re here for us.”
