Want to spend some time with others during the holidays, but don’t have a place to go?

Two spots in the Tri-Cities are offering a community Thanksgiving Dinner.

The Tri-Cities Union Gospel Mission is opening its traditional dinner 2 to 4 p.m.

The free meal will be served at the men’s facility at 112 N. Second Ave., in Pasco.

“We do have a real nice sit-down meal,” Executive Director Andrew Porter said. “We put out our best china. ... It’s a good time of fellowship.”

The Salvation Army in Richland is opening its doors for Thanksgiving to the public from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The group spent Wednesday preparing food for about 200 people.
