The sun could put in an appearance over the Tri-Cities Sunday, at least until late afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

It could be the sunniest day until Thanksgiving, according the weather service.

Rain and gusty winds are likely Sunday night, followed by a 30 to 40 percent chance of rain Monday.

Additional rain is possible until Thanksgiving Day, when skies should be partly sunny, according to the weather service’s early forecast.

Highs should be in the mid 50s Sunday through Tuesday, increasing into the 60s Wednesday through Thanksgiving.

The low Saturday night in the Tri-Cities likely will be below freezing. But cloudy skies starting Sunday night should keep lows in the 40s through Thursday night.
