Learn how to design a beautiful landscape and include plants that save water at a workshop in Richland Saturday.

The Benton Conservation District plans the free workshop “Where Water Conservation Meets Inspiration” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Richland Public Library, 955 Northgate Dr.

Presenters will include Julie Wilson, landscape designer at Agape Landscape Design, and Diane Sutzman, owner of Desert Jewels Nursery.

The program is part of the Heritage Garden Program, which encourages landscaped areas that honor the culture and natural heritage of the Columbia River Basin while using sustainable gardening practices.
