Ring in the holidays with the Salvation Army
The Salvation Army in the Northwest is recruiting volunteers to ring bells at its kettle donation stations in Washington, Idaho and Montana.
The red kettles are a primary fund raiser for the nonprofit and rely heavily on volunteers to carry out the mission.
Money raised helps with food, shelter, disaster relief, addiction recovery, domestic violence services and youth programs. Money raised in the red kettles stays in the local community where it was raised.
Individuals and groups interested in helping out should email nwbellringing@usw.salvationarmy.org for information.
