Up, up and rocket away
Advance physical science students at Chief Joseph Middle School in Richland watch as their classmates Isabela Riedinger, Paige McDowell, Jana Chiang and their teacher Becky Mittleider prepare to launch a rocket made of plastic bottles on Wednesday.
The rockets could soar up to 150 feet.
Students worked in groups of three, did research, created a model describing force, motion and Newton’s Third Law in relation to rocket science and presented their results.
