Water line work to disrupt Kennewick Ave. traffic

Work on a municipal water line will reduce traffic on Kennewick Avenue between Morain and Union streets to a single lane beginning Wednesday.

The city of Kennewick will have traffic controllers in place but advises drivers to proceed carefully through the work zone.

There will be delays. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes.

The project is part of the city’s 2017 capital improvement program and should be complete by mid-October.
