Pasco police cite school bus driver after crash
A Pasco school bus hit the back of a car Friday morning on the Road 68 overpass in Pasco.
The 14 middle school and high school students on the bus were unhurt, said Shane Edinger, Pasco School District communication manager. The bus and car were going south on Road 68.
Edinger said the “veteran” driver was eligible to return to work, but was on an unrelated leave.
Police cited the bus driver for following too closely.
The driver of the car, a Chiawana High School student, received a few cuts in the crash, Pasco police said.
