It will be an all-American weekend in Prosser, filled with airplanes and a parade for the town’s annual State’s Day and Fly-In celebrations.

The fly-in is 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday celebrates the freedom of aviation with pilots, planes and powered parachute rides for $40 a half hour. For an early morning ride in a powered parachute call Bill Nelson 509-786-2142.

Breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. and lunch at 11 a.m.

Monday’s festivities include a parade at 10 a.m., a carnival, children’s entertainment, music and concessions.

The 91st annual States Day events are in downtown Prosser and at City Park.
