Richland seeks volunteers for board work

The city of Richland is recruiting members to serve on two boards: the Public Facilities District Board and the Personnel Committee.

The public facilities board oversees the acquisition, construction, ownership and other activities related to operating a regional center. The board meets at 5:30 p.m. the third Thursday of the month at the Reach, 1943 Columbia Park Trail. Applications are due by Sept. 6.

The Personnel Committee reviews existing and proposed rules governing city personnel and a variety of other activities related to city employees. The board meets at 4:30 p.m. the second Thursday of every other month or as needed at the city shops. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
