A Kennewick resident thought a motorhome might be stolen when it was spotted driving away from the 6600 block of Umatilla Avenue Friday night and reported it to police.

It turned out the driver was suspected of driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Benton County sheriff’s deputies with assistance from the Kennewick Police Department stopped the motorhome on Highway 240, near the Edison Street overpass.

Driver David Dale Rink, 58, was arrested for driving under the influence and for driving with a suspended license. Bail was set at $750.
