Only 3 restaurants missed mark on health inspections this week

It’s a quiet week on the restaurant inspection front. Only three establishments warranted follow-ups in the latest batch of reports from the Benton-Franklin Health District’s food safety team.

The health district squad reviews food handling, preparation and sanitation procedures for the 1,000-plus establishments in the region.

Establishments are scrutinized for compliance with rules about food worker cards, hand washing, temperature control and cleanliness, among others. Those earning 25 or more red points on the 418-point scale warrant a follow-up. Those earning 10 or more on the follow up get subsequent visits.

The results below are divided between those that get a follow-up and those that don’t.
