Pasco vigil to remember people injured in Charlottesville violence
Love Not Hate Tri-Cities is holding a vigil Sunday night aimed at remembering the people injured and killed in yesterday’s violence in Charlottesville.
Three people died and more than 30 were injured as part of a series of violent clashes between white supremacist groups and counter-protesters, the Associated Press reported.
The vigil is planned for 8 p.m. at Memorial Park in Pasco.
“We stand with our neighbors and our nation against hate tonight after the terrorism white supremacists committed in Charlottesville,” the group wrote on it’s Facebook page. “We shall not allow their actions to become the norm in our country.”
