Pasco council holding special meeting Aug. 5 to review performance of undisclosed city employee
The Pasco City Council is holding a special meeting Saturday to review the performance of a city employee.
The 9 a.m. meeting will be at City Hall, 525 N. Third Ave.
Council members will recite the Pledge of Allegiance, then go behind closed doors for the executive session.
No further information is known about the employee who’s the subject of the review, or how long the meeting will last. Typically, executive sessions are held after the council meets on Monday nights.
A city employee’s performance review is one of the allowed exemptions for executive sessions.
Any action taken by the council as a result of discussion during the executive session must be done in a public meeting.
