The Port of Kennewick and the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation are dedicating this new art piece on Clover Island at 10:30 a.m. Friday . “Wiyákuktpa,” or the Gathering Place, includes two bronze sculptures at a small pond by the marina and is designed to share tribal history, culture and tradition of gathering tule reeds in the area now known as Clover Island.

Other improvements include a pathway along the marina harbor and a seating area.
