Construction crews are starting at 6 a.m. and quitting by 2:30 p.m. to avoid the worst of the heat this week. Workers are encouraged to drink a lot of water and take breaks to cool down. A heat advisory is in affect until Friday when temperatures could peak at 106-107 degrees.
