Eight fail and five score perfect marks in latest restaurant inspection report

Eight establishments earned return visits from the Benton-Franklin Health District’s food safety team in the latest report. One of them earned perfect marks on its subsequent inspection.

The food sleuths regularly inspect more than 1,000 licensed food service establishments, typically during regular business hours, and evaluate them on a 418-point scale. It takes 25 or more of the critical red points on routine inspections or 10 on follow-up inspections to trigger additional inspections.
