Manhattan Project Park visitor center opens this week

The Port of Benton will dedicate the Manhattan Project National Park Interim Visitor Center at the Tri-Cities Enterprise Center in north Richland this week.

Festivities are scheduled for 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at 2000 Logston Blvd., off Highway 240 near Horn Rapids.

The event is coordinated with the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Park Service. Refreshments will be served.
