Coroner collects mystery bones found in Kennewick’s Columbia Park

The Benton County coroner has identified a set of old bones discovered Monday evening in Columbia Park as belonging to an animal.

The Kennewick Police Department responded to a report of large bones next to the shoreline and in the river. When officers couldn’t determine their origin, they enlisted the coroner.
