Travel across the Cascades on Interstate 90 will be slowed Tuesday and Wednesday as crews replace asphalt.

Lane closures are planned in both directions during the day at the pass as the state Department of Transportation begins road work between mileposts 59 and 62.

People traveling across the mountains between Monday and Friday may experience delays because of rolling slowdowns and lane closures.
