Libraries host Food for Fines in May
Food for Fines is back at all Mid-Columbia Libraries branches May 1-31.
The program is held to help customers pay overdue fees while also helping the local community. Customers are invited to pay their fines by donating non-perishable food items. Each item counts as $1 toward overdue fines, and up to $10 can be paid off per account.
All food will be donated to local food banks throughout the region.
