‘Baby Hootie’ rescued from Richland city street
Richland police were called to help with a different kind of rescue this week.
A tiny baby owl they call “Baby Hootie” was found on a city street, unable to fly away.
Officers scooped the tiny feathered owlet into a box and it was given to Blue Mountain Wildlife rehabilitators in Pendleton to be cared for.
