2 men passed out in a car in Richland with possible drugs on their laps

Taking drugs in a parked car and passing out is going to raise some attention.

Richland police investigated a complaint of two men passed out in a car at a gas station in the 2000 block of Van Giesen Street on Wednesday night.

Police said they found the men reclined and sleeping with drug paraphernalia and possible drugs in their lap.

The unnamed driver was arrested on a warrant and the passenger detained. The car was impounded so the police could obtain a warrant to search the vehicle.
