Head of state’s nuclear waste program to speak April 18
The director of the Washington State Department of Ecology Nuclear Waste Program will discuss Hanford nuclear reservation cleanup on April 18.
Alex Smith, who is marking her one-year anniversary in the position, will speak at 5:30 p.m. in the Doris Roberts Gallery of the Richland Public Library.
Her presentation is sponsored by the Eastern Washington Chapter of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Material Managers. The public is invited.
