Kennewick police investigate crash that injured two

The Kennewick Police Department is investigating a one-car wreck that injured two people early Saturday.

The police department said the car was traveling west on Columbia Drive when it left the roadway and struck a traffic signal pole and concrete wall near Fruitland Street shortly before 2 a.m.

The unidentified female driver, 23, was taken to Trios Health. A passenger, identified as a 23-year-old man, was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland with serious injuries.
