Bateman Island cleanup planned March 25

Volunteers are welcome to help with cleanup of Bateman Island on March 25.

The Washington State University Tri-Cities Environmental Club and other local groups are picking up trash 9 a.m. to noon.

People can meet at Wye Park on Columbia Park Trail and should bring gloves. Trash bags are provided by the city of Richland.
