Volunteer symposium for young Tri-City leaders set March 24

Emerging Tri-Cities, formerly Young Professionals of Tri-Cities, plan a volunteer symposium to kick off the organization.

The event is from noon to 2 p.m. March 24 at the Tri-Cities Business & Visitors Center, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd.

More than 15 nonprofits seeking 2,000 volunteers will be on-hand to discuss opportunities in their organizations.
