First ever DARE graduation at Sage Crest Elementary School in Kennewick

Elvin Cruz, a fifth-grade student at Sage Crest Elementary, smiles Monday while shaking hands with Kennewick Police Officer Roman Trujillo during the new Kennewick school’s first DARE graduation ceremony.

Sixty-five students took part in the event held in the school’s gymnasium and each them shook hands with about ten officers in attendance.
