Dogs, dog lovers can run or walk to help animals Saturday

Dogs and dog lovers are invited to participate in the 17th Annual Pooch and Pal Run and Walk on Saturday.

Proceeds will benefit Pet Over Population Prevention.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. at Columbia Point Marina in Richland for a 9 a.m. start time. Cost is $20.

A western theme is planned. Participants can choose from a 1-mile or 5k course.
