Students from across much of Eastern Washington will display their science projects Thursday at the Mid-Columbia Science Fair at Columbia Center mall in Kennewick.

The 255 projects will be judged off and on from 9 a.m. to late afternoon.

Students entered in the regional competition on Thursday are in grades six through 12, with the projects of 10th to 12th graders near the food court.

Two of the older students will be selected to proceed to the international science fair.
