Tucannon River steelhead season extended
The Tucannon River season for steelhead has been extended through April 15.
The season had been set to close by now.
The extension does not apply to the area upstream from Tucannon Hatchery Road Bridge, according to the state Department of Fish and Wildlife.
The daily limit has been increased to three hatchery steelhead, with any other species released. Any hatchery steelhead caught must be retained. Anglers must use barbless hooks when fishing for steelhead.
