Engelke elected to FSA committee

Hans “Jochen” Engelke of the Basin City/Mesa area has been elected to a three-year term on the USDA’s Franklin County Farm Service Agency Committee.

Rod Rottinghaus and Kim English placed second and third in the election, and will serve as the first and second alternates.

The committee’s job is to serve as a liaison between area farmers and the Farm Services Agency.
