Co-author of Washington Rocks to give Kennewick talk on rocks

The co-author of Washington Rocks will speak in Kennewick on Jan. 10 .

Chad Pritchard, assistant professor in the Department of Geology at Eastern Washington University, will discuss Washington state’s rich tectonic and geologic history using some of the eastern and central Washington state sites featured in the book.

His presentation is at the Ice Age Floods Institute Program 6:45 p.m. at the Benton PUD auditorium, 2721 W. 10th Ave., Kennewick.
