State closes Highway 241 north of Sunnyside due to snow

Highway 241 is closed between Highway 24 and Interstate 82 because of blowing snow and snow drifts.

The state Department of Transportation closed about 13 miles of the highway at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

The highway is closed at the intersection with Interstate 82 north of Sunnyside to a few miles south of the intersection with Highway 24.

The state did not provide an estimate of when it will reopen.
