Holiday peace vigil set Dec. 18 at Richland park
World Citizens for Peace plans a multifaith holiday peace vigil in Howard Amon Park in Richland.
People of all faiths and no faith will gather at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at the “fingernail” in the park. A 30-minute program of prayer, a message of peace and personal wishes for peace on earth is planned.
Children and pets are welcome. In case of severe weather, the event will move to the nearby Richland Community Center.
