Highway 12 closes for second time within hours

Highway 12 near Touchet is closed for the second time Saturday because of a crash.

The highway was closed from about 1:40 to 2:20 p.m. because of a crash.

By 3:45 p.m. another crash within two miles of the first had caused the highway to be closed again, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

Estimated time to reopen the highway is 6 p.m.
