There’s not much to like in the Tri-City forecast through the weekend unless freezing temperatures, fog and rain appeal to you.

Thursday the high in the Tri-Cities is expected to be about 49, with the temperature dropping to a low just below freezing Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow is expected in the mountains Thursday morning as the snow level drops to 2,500 to 3,000 feet.

Patchy fog is forecast for the Tri-City area Thursday and Friday morning, according to the weather service. Friday should be another cold day with a high of about 47 in the Tri-Cities.

But temperatures should start to warm some as another front moves across the Tri-Cities, bringing a chance of rain Saturday and Sunday, according to the weather service.

Lows should be above freezing for several nights starting Friday. Highs should be back in the low 50s starting Sunday.
