Casey J. Childers, 19, of Kennewick, was taken to Trios Southridge Hospital after the 8:45 p.m. wreck on Highway 397. She was treated at the hospital and later released.
She was driving a 1999 Mercedes four-door south on the highway when she attempted a u-turn and was hit by a 2013 Dodge Dart, which also was headed south, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The Dodge’s driver, Stacy M. Kulm, 38, of Kennewick, wasn’t hurt, troopers said.
The wreck is under investigation.
