Bergstrom Aircraft plans a special B-25 Ground School centered on an aircraft used in the surprise Doolittle Raid on Japan.

The class is noon to 5 Saturday at Bergstrom, 4102 N. Stearman Ave. on the east side of the Tri-Cities Airport.

Participants will receive hands-on training about the the medium-range bomber, including its history, aircraft systems, flight procedures and profiles, performance and training.

Participants will explore a working model and will have a chance to tour the Pasco Airport’s Old Tower, which was in use during World War II as a Navy Air Station. Bergstrom is leading efforts to restore it as a historical site.

Pilots will receive a logbook endorsement for the ground training. Ground school is open to pilots and non-pilots. Cost is $250. Call 425-348-3200 for information.
