ACT donation drive open until Nov. 8

The Academy of Children’s Theatre (ACT) is organizing a donation drive until Nov. 8 to raise $1,000 to support its high school performance group’s upcoming trip to the state Community Theatre Association’s Kaleidoscope Festival in Tacoma.

The drive will be compensated with payment by the pound for every qualifying donation received. Acceptable donations include clothing, shoes, accessories, linens, books, and small household items. Furniture will not be accepted.

Items can be dropped off 9 a.m. to noon Monday-Thursday at the ACT office, 213 Wellsian Way, Richland. Alternate times can be scheduled by calling Julie Schroeder at 509-943-6027.
