Woman hurt in collision with Naches school bus
A woman was injured when she rear-ended a school bus on Highway 12 near the Naches city limits on Thursday around noon.
Diane Tatum, 58, of Naches, was driving a white 2013 Subaru Outback south on Kel-Lowry Road. She was following a 2007 Naches School District bus when it turned onto Highway 12. The bus stopped in the lane, and Tatum struck the back of the bus, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Tatum was injured and taken to Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Bus driver James Johnson, 64, of Yakima, was not injured.
The state patrol reports the cause of the collision is under investigation and no tickets were issued.
